The Mandarin Restaurant has become my family’s favorite buffet restaurant here in Oakville. Our first ever trip to this restaurant was December last year for Kevin and Tita Bambi’s birthdays. We were all amazed at the wide choices of food for buffet and that it meant that we can eat all we can till we drop! We have had familiar Chinese cuisine and many other international food to choose from and everything just looked so delicious and delectable.

On February 18, we went there for the second time to cap Family Day. It was a holiday and the restaurant was full packed. We were early actually, at around 5 in the afternoon, but tables were already full and we had to wait. Good thing it was not a long wait as we were already very hungry from our tour at the Royal Ontario Museum.

By the time we sat down, hubby was the first one to go to the buffet table and got a plateful of food. I went next to get some food for Baby Job and Kuya Bogs and after several trips to the buffet table, we were already so full.

Mandarin Restaurant has excellent customer service and like what their mission says, we all left the place smiling and satisfied. Although we paid a little higher than the usual price because it was a holiday, we were all so full that we think it was just all worth it. Unfortunately, I was so busy eating and was so hungry already that I forgot to take photos of the restaurant and our food!

We were at one of the McDonald’s restaurant here and since I’ve got some coupons for McDonald’s meals in the mail, I used it to buy our meals. I saved a lot!

I only paid about $17 for four meals, the $9.48 for two and another two happy meals for the little boys. Compared to buying and paying our meals in regular price, it would probably reach more than $26 for all of us. Thanks to these coupons, I have saved almost $10.

I wish there will be more McDonald’s coupons that will come in the mail soon. Oh, I do have Wendy’s and hoping to get one from Dairy Queen too.
