Birthday Bash
Last Sunday, we had a birthday bash for our little baby. It was his first birthday and since we had the party held at one of the hotels in the city, the food was also catered by the hotel. The food catering included three main dishes, noodles/pasta, soup, rice and dessert.
- Lemon Chicken
- Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet
- Chinese Humba
- Pancit Guisado
We had fruit salad for the dessert and cream of chicken for the soup. We also ordered a small lechon (roasted pig) for the birthday boy.
The roasted pig’s skin was so crispy and it was so yummy. Lechon will always be a part of any celebration here, and because first birthdays are always important events in one’s life, it will always be present.
Honestly, because we were the hosts and I was busy entertaining the guests, distributing the goodies and giveaways, I barely ate. I think I was only able to scoop a few spoonfuls and chewed on a few crispy lechon skin. I did not feel hungry at all. Anyway, there were a lot of leftovers and we had to bring hthem home. Til now, we are still eating the leftover Chinese Humba… hehehe..

yummylicious…..hahaha! the roasted pig water my mouth and this is bad because I am craving for it. haha i’ll get to taste this in a few weeks. haha

I love the pictures. The lechon just makes me really hungry! I could it it up whole and then find myself on an ambulance going straight to the nearest hospital here. Haha
