Cake Pops for Baby Job’s Birthday
I have been searching for a unique birthday cake for my baby’s first birthday. While blog hopping, I saw a recipe that was a bit easy to make and the result was really super.

I had these for Baby Job’s first birthday. I got the recipe from a mommy friend of mine. She made these instead of cupcakes for her daughter’s birthday. So with her permission, I copied her recipe and brought it to the bakeshop so that they can replicate it. Though it did not look exactly the same as my friend’s, but it was a big hit among the children. They thought it was ice cream that when they got one in their hands, they licked it like eating ice cream. That’s when I broke the news that it was really cake.
It was yummy and I like how the bakeshop did their signature. Unlike my friend’s ice cream cake pops, the cake on the cones were just half-sized. My friend’s was a whole scoop of cake. Instead of candies inside the cones, the bakeshop placed marshmallows and some chocolate pieces. It did turn out good and yummy.
I hope I can make one like this. I have the recipe here and all I have to do is just to follow it. We’ll see if I can make it like my friend’s. Thanks by the way, Mami Dhemz for this great idea!
Baby Job’s Birthday Cupcakes
Along with the birthday cake, one of our friend’s birthday gifts for Baby Job was these cupcakes! Topped with dark pink/red icing and toppers with Baby Job’s photo in it, these cupcakes are one of the best I have tasted. They are not so sweet and the icing is just perfect. I am happy that our friend got us some cakes to go along with the birthday cake. Everyone loved it.

It was so sweet of our friend to give cupcakes and I really did not expect it. I am really glad that she did because everyone was able to taste one. They were also a hit among the children who attended the birthday party.
